I visited the APS bank in Sliema the other day, and on entering I was ordered to remove my cap which I instantly refused. Taking off your sunglasses might have some valid reason, but removing your cap or hat is totally absurd. If bank managers want to make sure customers aren’t carrying arms, they should search handbags instead.
Where’s the common sense in the bank’s security policy? I would like to advise APS Bank that it’s the customer who’s providing their bread and butter. So stop turning them away by your silly security rules.
