Emirates has launched a special offer in collaboration with Hilton Cyprus, a five-star hotel in Nicosia.
Emirates is offering a three-night package valid for stays until January 31 at the price of €249 per person.
The price is inclusive of economy class Malta/Larnaca/Malta flights on Emirates Airline, airport taxes and three nights’ accommodation in a double/twin room at Hilton Cyprus on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
Customers can extend their stay up to seven nights at the rate of €30 per person per night in a double/twin room. The single room rate is at €50 per person per night inclusive of breakfast. Offer is subject to availability at the time of booking. Terms and conditions apply.
Paul Fleri Soler, Emirates’ Malta manager, said: “Due to popular demand we are offering the Cyprus package, which this time is also valid over the festive season. Cyprus can be enjoyed all the year round and the island offers great scenery of natural beauty and traditional culture.”
Cypriots drive on the same side like in Malta and roads are well signposted in English, making exploring the island by car easy.
Car hire can be booked directly at the Hilton Cyprus and the hotel provides car parking facilities.
The island is dominated by the Troodos Mountains, whose pine and oak covered slopes are often swathed in snow in December and January.
Limassol is the island’s second city with excellent shopping facilities and a wide choice of restaurants.
Larnaca offers fine museums and a lively market, while Pafos is centred around its pretty harbour lined with restaurants and bars. From here it is easy to explore the rocky coastline and a range of archaeological sites.
Emirates operates a daily schedule from Malta to Dubai via Larnaca, Cyprus. EK 108 departs from Malta International Airport at 2.45 p.m. and arrives in Larnaca at 6.10 p.m. The return flight EK 107 departs from Larnaca at 11.30 a.m. and arrives in Malta at 1.20 p.m.
Emirates’ offer at Hilton Cyprus is available exclusively from local travel agencies.
