The Easter Road side say the punishments imposed on “a number of fans” include life bans and indefinite bans.

He also missed last year’s CONCACAF Gold Cup, although he played regularly for Real Madrid this season.

Evans fired: Leeds have parted company with manager Steve Evans after he spent just seven months in the Elland Road hot seat, with the Championship club looking for a “different approach”.
