A group of 21 students from St Aloysius College Sixth Form recently visited Bristol University, known worldwide for its science departments.
The students had the opportunity to work in the chemistry laboratories alongside other students from the UK and Ireland.
Lectures were also given by various professors, including Preeti Kaur and Tim Harrison, who spearheaded the summer camp.
Various activities were held so that the people from different nationalities could get to know each other better.
The trip ended with a day-trip to Bath, where the students visited the Jane Austen Museum, the river Avon and the bridge which runs over it, the Roman Baths, the cathedral and the Royal Crescent.
The aim of this trip was to give students a taste of what it is like to study abroad, and to help them interact and network with students from other countries.
They were accompanied by assistant head Daniel Buhagiar and rector Fr Patrick Magro.
