6 p.m. He inaugurates the BJ’s Live Music Marathon in Paceville.

Tuesday

10.30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the boys attending the Juventus Soccer School at San Anton Palace.

11 a.m. Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund working committee at San Anton Palace.

Noon The President receives a courtesy call from Ishmael Portelli, winner of the 2012 Excellence Award in Frankfurt at San Anton Palace.

Wednesday

10.30 a.m. The President is presented with a publication entitled SICUT LILIUM: Devozzjoni u Ritwal tul is-Sekli by members of Our Lady of the Lily Mqabba musical society at San Anton Palace.

1.30 p.m. He is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund by Franco Mercieca and his family at San Anton Palace.

Thursday

9.30 a.m. The President is presented with credentials by Yong Chanthalangsy, ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, at the Palace, Valletta.

10.30 a.m. He is presented with credentials by Uruguayan Ambassador Gustavo Anibal Alvarez Goyoaga at the Palace, Valletta.

11.30 a.m. He is presented with credentials by Mexican Ambassador Miguel Ruiz-Cabanas Izquierdo at the Palace, Valletta.

1.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela host a luncheon in honour of the newly-accredited ambassadors.

6 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela preside over the Malta Community Chest Fund board meeting at San Anton Palace, Attard.

10.30 a.m. The President presides over a press conference to launch the Voluntary Mission Abroad 2012 at San Anton Palace.

8 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a concert on the 70th anniversary of the award of the George Cross to Malta at the Mediterranean ConferenceCentre in Valletta.

10.30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the officials of the George Cross Island Association at the Palace, Valletta.

11.05 a.m. He attends the ecumenical service by the George Cross Island Association at the Siege Bell Memorial, Valletta.

1.15 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela host a luncheon on the 70th anniversary of the George Cross to Malta by King George VI and the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II at Verdala Palace, Buskett.

6 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a thanksgiving Mass on the seventh anniversary of the election of Pope Benedict XVI at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

Sunday

9.45 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the MEHFA Bike Ride participants at San Anton Palace.

6 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend solemn Mass on the 70th anniversary of the award of the George Cross to Malta at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta.

7.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend the ceremony marking the70th anniversary of the George Cross award at St George’s Square, Valletta, followed by a reception at the Palace, Valletta.
