The bicentennial of the return of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte to France after nine months in exile on the Island of Elba was marked yesterday. The bicentennial ceremonies in Paris included a historical re-enactment of Napoleon riding on horseback near the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel du Louvre upon his return to the capital city.
