Mirko Vucinic is on the verge of completing his transfer to Juventus tomorrow, as an agreement was reached which will see Roma receive €15m spread out over three years.

“I’m happy. It’s what I wanted,” theMontenegrin striker was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Earlier this month, Vucinic had reportedly attracted the interest of Manchester United, Tottenham and Blackburn Rovers, but made it clear from the start of the summer that he wanted to join the Turin outfit.

Roma’s general director Walter Sabatini said a meeting was planned “for next week,” but newspapers in Italy are certain that would only be to undergo a medical and put pen to paper.

A deal has been struck worth €15m to be paid in instalments over a three-year period, although sources in Rome suggest a further €3m in performance-related bonuses.

Vucinic is set to sign a four-year contract worth over €3m per season, becoming Juve’s sixth signing of the new season.
