• You can’t claim compensation for defects they were aware of before the purchase.
• It is against the law for shops to pretend goods have been reduced from a higher price when they were never sold at that price.
• Consumers should always shop around to find the best deals and bargains.
• Misleading sales practices may be reported to the Office for Consumer Affairs within the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority.
