■ Commercial guarantees are voluntary and may have different terms and conditions.
■ Consumers’ legal rights cannot be diminished by commercial guarantees that are less beneficial.
■ Once the two-year legal guarantee expires, consumers may only claim redress as stipulated in the terms and conditions of the commercial guarantee.
■ When goods are replaced under guarantee, the latter does not start from scratch but the original guarantee continues.
