Bay Street Complex in St George’s Bay is welcoming chocolate lovers to the Nestlé Wonka Choco-Fest, which will be open today between noon and 6pm.

Children can meet Charlie and the Chocolate Factory characters. In addition, children will receive a free voucher to the National Aquarium when they enter the Wonka Chocolate Factory.

Shoppers and diners at Bay Street can enter a Shop & Win competition, with five golden tickets to be won. The prizes include an electric eco-scooter worth €2,800, Bay Street Hotel weekend breaks, Nestlé goodie baskets and children’s toys from Juniors Fun & Learn Centre.

Students from the Institute of Tourism Studies will be speaking about the history of chocolate.

There will also be entertainment and displays by master chocolatier Andrew Farrugia, who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest chocolate sculpture.

All proceeds from the Choco-Fest, which comes to and end today, will be donated to the Beating Hearts Foundation.

Customers will be offered free parking for an hour in the indoor and outdoor car parks.
