The ninth edition of the Malta Comic Convention (MCC), organised by Wicked Comics, will be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta, on December 2 between 10am and 6pm and December 3 from 11am to 7pm.

MCC continues to be the most popular pop culture event on the island and the biggest platform for Maltese creators to showcase their skills, sell their creations and interact with their fans.

The continuous presence of some of the leading names in the comic industry and up and coming creators from all over the world continues to aid the development of the Maltese comic scene.

Guests at this year’s edition are Tazio Bettin, Leeann Hamilton, John Royle, Simon ‘Pye’ Parr, Dan Christensen, Malta Geek Paradise, Eric Leone, Rebecca Portelli, Fleur Sciortino and Matthew Theuma Fontebrera. They will be joining David Hine, Ellen Stubbings, Ian Richardson, Glenn Fabry, Ivo De Palma, Dean Fenech, Christine Mizzi, Nicholas Vella Magri Demajo, Mae McKinnon and Lisa Hirth.

Table booking by those who wish to exhibit at MCC 2017 will close on Tuesday; late entries will not be accepted. Application forms can be downloaded from http://www.maltacomic-con.com/download-applications and sent to info@maltacomic-con.com.

Wicked Comics are also offering a number of travelling and accommodation packages for foreign creators and fans who wish to join the convention.
