The National Commission for Persons with Disability is organising an international conference at the Grand Hotel Mercure San Antonio, in Qawra on Empowerment and Rights for Young Persons with Disability.

The conference will be conducted by disabled officials of the International Disability Equality Agency.

This event, attended by 37 delegates from various countries will take place from Sunday to the following Friday.

Participants will speak about their own experience of disability, the experience of persons with disability in their country, their hopes and plans for the future and ways and means of realising them.

They will also discuss how non-disabled persons look at persons with disability.
