Dance Power III - Moving On by Dance Council-Malta will be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, in Valletta on December 3 and 4.
Dance Council president Tanya Bayona said the event will bring together 20 dance schools and companies to perform in a splendid array of dance disciplines.
The guest musician will be harpist Anne Marie Camilleri Podestà who will open the performance with an ensemble of 40 dancers from all the participating schools.
The guest of honour will be the star, choreographer and director of the French Ballet D'Europe, Jean-Charles Gil who will be auditioning for 20 dancers to appear in the grand finale to his own choreography.
Mr Gil will join the Dance Council committee to select the best three dancers who will receive bursaries donated by the Dance Council.
This collaboration with the Ballet D'Europe is the first phase of a project that should continue to develop over a period of two years, Ms Bayona said.
Booking opens next Monday at the Mediterranean Conference Centre.
