I have been visiting these peaceful islands for the past 20 years and recently I was prompted by friends to visit the Classic Car Museum in Qawra.

During my last visit over the Christmas holiday I decided to pay a visit to what I discovered to be a "temple" for classic car enthusiasts that must be a one off, if not the best display of its kind in Europe. I spent the best part of two hours perusing the exhibits and was far from disappointed. In fact, I was actually astounded at the number of exhibits and the professional way they are displayed.

My visit was certainly a nostalgic experience and I will certainly be repeating the experience on my next visit, as I did not manage to explore all the vehicles on display. I counted well over 80 vehicles as well as all the other interesting paraphernalia.

Most vehicles are from the bygone age mostly of the British car industry and I came across a number of models that I could personally identify with and used to drive around in yesteryears.

My visit was sealed with a conversation that I managed to have with the owner/curator of this museum, whose knowledge and experience must make him one of the most knowledgeable and dedicated curators in this field.

I was certainly very impressed with the exhibits and will recommend any of my friends visiting these islands, to cruise to Qawra for a visit to the Classic Car Museum.
