The fact that human life begins at conception is undeniable. That is, from that moment a new creation comes into being. Since the developing and forming of the unborn child go beyond our ability, we have to admit that we are not the creators.
Therefore, what is created is not ours. Hence, we cannot claim any authority over the unborn child's life, and thus, human life should be protected from the moment of conception onwards.
God, who is the creator, made us in such a biological structure that we can participate directly in the creation of man. This clearly reflects that God loves us so much that He trusted us with this beautiful gift, and in return God expects us to use this capability in a responsible manner.
However, God does not force us to do good; we have to choose to do good. This freedom of choice entails with it responsibilities and duties. This also means that an irresponsible behaviour, which results in unwanted pregnancies, does not give us any authority over the unborn child's life.
Unfortunately, some people sustain that it is a woman's right to decide the outcome of the pregnancy.
This is nothing but a woman's wrong. It simply should not be the innocent child who has to pay for our mishaps.
Abortion is not the solution. In fact abortion, which is one of the biggest human follies that one can ever experience, is when the mother's womb serves as the execution chamber, where the most horrifying murder is committed against an innocent, defenceless child.
This culture of death deserves condemnation. Politicians should also legislate against abortion; as this sheer hatred towards human life produces a direct negative effect on society.
In this regard, how can we believe in the truthfulness of those politicians who speak in favour of human dignity and then approve this infanticide? And how can we pretend to have a kind society when its core is being targeted with this hostility? How?
Let us not forget that all those in favour of abortion had the opportunity to be born, alive; and that their right for life has been protected from its conception onwards.
Please keep this letter, and if you know of someone who is going to have an abortion give her this letter and maybe she will change her mind on carrying on with the abortion.
Perhaps when those saved lives of innocent children grow up, they could be very useful in defending life and the truth in the future. Hatred destroys; love creates.
