Egyptian national Tarek Mohammed Ibrahim, 30, was accused yesterday of attacking police constable Paul Sheehan at St Julian's police station last Friday.

He was accused of slightly injuring Anna Grech, breaking public order and driving a car when he was not in possession of a driving licence and was not covered by insurance.

He pleaded not guilty.

Dr Bernard Grech asked that the accused be granted bail but the request was turned down.
