A Marsascala man was yesterday charged with breaking into a house, holding several people against their will and stealing.
Charles Cutajar, 42, pleaded not guilty to breaking into a Marsascala house and stealing several items, including a Versace watch, holding several people against their will, the possession of a firearm and a knife without a licence and relapsing.
Mr Cutajar was remanded in police custody.
Police Inspectors Silvio Valletta and Malcolm Spiteri prosecuted.
Lawyers José Herrera and Roberto Montalto appeared for Mr Cutajar.
