Industrial action ordered by the General Workers' Union last November has finally been called off after agreement was reached with the management of St Luke's Hospital on overtime and the deployment of nursing aides.

The nursing aides had been ordered not to budge from their posts in a dispute over the sub-contracting of care workers at the hospital.
