Alternattiva Demokratika has called on the Malta Planning and Environment Authority to review the way it is issuing permits for structures on the Bugibba promenade.

AD also expressed its support for St Paul's Bay local council which is protesting with the authorities on this issue.

AD's environment spokesman, Mark Causon, said the structures were blocking the views from this popular promenade.
