One of Alternattiva Demokratika's priorities within Kalkara local council will be to exert as much pressure as possible to safeguard Kalkara valley from destructive development, AD's spokesman for Kalkara and one of the founders of the Front Insalvaw Wied il-Kalkara , told a press conference yesterday as part of AD's campaign for local elections.

Another priority for AD was to safeguard Rinella Bay from pollution and to take action to deal with the sewage outfall at Kalkara.
