The HSBC Call Centre in Swatar recently ran its 'Adopt an Angel' initiative to give children in homes a treat.

Employees at the call centre donated money, time and gifts to children in institutional homes in Malta. Some 252 children benefited from this initiative.

The gifts were distributed by HSBC Centre director Richard Brown, accompanied by members of staff and by Father Christmas, who visited homes in Żabbar, Tarxien, Ħamrun, St Venera and Sliema.

The centre also recycled used Christmas cards and produced an in-house calendar, involving many of its staff, to raise funds in aid of Dar Merħba Bik and Noah's Ark.

"We were thrilled at the level of support we received from our employees and this has been a very rewarding experience for all who were involved," said Mr Brown.
