Adult education prospectus

The adult education section of the education department has published an informative prospectus for the benefit of those interested in furthering their education.

There are 227 classes, covering academic, engineering, craft and leisure courses together with literacy and numeracy courses and courses in English and Maltese for foreigners.

A copy of the prospectus may be obtained from local councils or via the internet.

This year the section has introduced the following new courses: O-Level revision courses at the Lifelong Learning Centre in the afternoons, geography at O-Level, Spanish culture and history, graphical communication at A-Level, advanced technician diploma in IT, tatting, basic ballet and dance and ju-jitsu.

Applications will be accepted from Monday to Friday, September 13 between 8.30 a.m. and noon.

Applicants wishing to attend courses at the Gozo centres are to collect application forms from the Education Office, Victoria or from the Gozitan council offices or download them from the internet.

Applicants are to present their registration forms and payment at the Education Office, Victoria, between Monday and September 13 from 8.30 a.m. till noon.
