The Senglea local council yesterday reiterated its disapproval over plans to build a fuel station for the proposed yacht marina in Cottonera.

It was also against the construction of the club house as indicated in the plans and proposed that berths remained the same as they were now.

The council's declaration was made through a motion approved on July 26.

The council was giving its reaction during the Malta Environment and Planning Authority's public consultation phase of the project, which closed yesterday.
