Matthew Paris, KSU vice-president:
"The University Students' Council (KSU)'s AGM aims to discuss the work done by the outgoing executive as well as the future workings of the organisation. The shouting which characterised the early part of general meeting held last Wednesday was deplorable. Its only purpose was to portray a negative image of university students. It is high time we moved a step further. Student politics should remain as such and should be devoid of partisan politics."

Jonathan Falzon, B.Sc Biology and Chemistry, second year:
"I believe the AGM should be open to all students who wish to voice their opinions. I am really disappointed that some students do not respect the opinions of others and decided to offend people who do not share their views. Having said this, I still believe only a minority of the student body was offensive."

Kristina Abela, B. Accountancy, first year:
"The KSU AGM was quite an experience this year. Although I was dissapointed with the attitude taken by certain people at the AGM, decisions were taken with the democratic approval of the students present. The students who walked out of the room should not claim any lack of representation as they were not present to voice their opinions and that of the students they represent within their respective student organisations."
