Air Malta has launched a special offer targeting exclusively people visiting Malta on cruise liners.
Cruise passengers arriving in Malta are being given the opportunity to visit Malta again and benefit from a 10 per cent discount on the least applicable fare available at the time of booking.
This special offer is available for travel from 14 Air Malta destinations including Rome, Milan, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Zurich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Paris, Istanbul, Manchester and London Gatwick.
Commenting on this special offer, Philip Saunders, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Malta said:
"We understand that cruise passengers do not have the time to see all Malta during their short stopover. We think that the few hours they spend in Malta are not enough to experience the beauty of the islands and their endless attractions available all year round. That is why we are inviting them to come again".
Air Malta is interested in targeting the growing market of home porting.
During the first seven months of this year, Malta saw some 280,000 cruise passengers – a nine per cent increase over the same period last year and the target is to host half a million cruise passengers by the end of 2011.
