Air Malta is to lay on an extra flight to London Gatwick tomorrow morning to take passengers who were stranded when today's Gatwick flight was cancelled. The cancellation was caused by the closure of Gatwick airport by heavy snowfalls.
The airline said its two flights to London Heathrow operated normally.
The airline offered free re-booking to passengers booked on today's cancelled flight.
Extra flight KM3118 will be departing tomorrow to London Gatwick at 7 a.m. with the return KM3119 scheduled to depart Gatwick airport bound for Malta at 10.20.
"As a value focused airline Air Malta extends its support to its passengers in such circumstances and tries to minimise the inconveniences by limiting disruptions whilst offering alternatives where interruptions in services are necessary. Other airlines simply cancelled flights without giving their clients any alternatives," the airline said.
