All of Fort St Angelo will be open for visits on Saturday and Sunday, Heritage Malta said.

"Further to the Open Day of October 11, when only parts of the outdoor spaces of the fort were open for public viewing, this weekend the entire fort will be accessible," it said.

"In 2007 Heritage Malta was entrusted with the publicly accessible parts of the Fort, which have now been restored to create an unparalleled heritage experience. The project enables visitors to engage with the Fort’s crucial role through the ages in the defence of the Grand Harbour and the Maltese Islands. It also offers astounding vistas of the Grand Harbour, and an interactive educational experience for the whole family."

The fort will be open between 9am and 5pm with last admission at 4.30pm. The admission price is €1.
