The Malta Cine Circle is celebrating 52 years of continuous activity within the amateur film world with the launch of a new competition.

The films submitted can be on any subject and shot on any format. The club suggests that the running time of the film, whether fiction, documentary or experimental, should be somewhere in the region of five to 20 minutes but no longer than half an hour.

Closing dates for the entries is May 15 and films have to be submitted by May 31. Entries can be deposited at Scan Computers, in Iklin. Enquiries can be made in writing to Malta Cine Circle, PO Box 450, Valletta.
