The American Auto Club Malta held a car show in Bugibba Square over the weekend on the occasion of America's Independence Day on Sunday. About 30 American cars were exhibited.

Launched last March, the club has 120 members.

Its main focus is to preserve American vehicles and keep them on the roads to foster more public appreciation towards them.

The club also accepts invitations to help other institutions such as football clubs, band clubs, youth centres and local councils.
