American Ambassador Anthony Gioia presented the University of Malta library with a second instalment of the prestigious Library of America series, covering the best in American literature, politics, history and journalism, from George Washington to the Vietnam War.

The University Library is one of 100 institutions nominated for this award by American embassies worldwide.

The presentation was made to university rector Roger Ellul Micallef in the presence of Erik Holm Olsen, PRO at the US embassy, and the university's director of library services, Anthony Mangion.
