Obituary

PORTELLI – JOHN, aged 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maria Louise, his children Francesca, Andrea and Cristina, his granddaughter Maya, his mother Cecilia, his mother-in-law Maria Lourdes, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, their respective families, other relatives and friends. Mass will be celebrated tomorrow, Saturday, August 9, at 3pm, at St Nicholas parish church, Siġġiewi. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

VELLA – MARGARET. On the 11th anniversary of her demise. Much loved and missed by her husband Charles, her daughters Daniela, Fiona, Angie and their husbands James, Kevin and Franck, her grandchildren Nigel, Becky, Ben, Timmy, Damien, Kelian and great-grandchildren Sophie, Nick, Liam and Jack. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Dennis, Joanna, Robert Dowling and their families would like to thank the Rev. Clergy who concelebrated mass, all those who attended the funeral, sent cards, flowers and donations, or in any way showed kind expressions of sympathy at the sad loss of their dearly beloved LOUISE, a treasured wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who went to meet the Risen Lord on July 25. Please remember her in your prayers. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Guido de Marco August 12, 2010 In memory of a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, on the 15th anniversary of his demise. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said on Tuesday, 12th August at 6.30pm at the Chapel in Simblija Care Home, Naxxar. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
