Obituaries
DEBONO – LINA, aged 95, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in Swieqi, surrounded by some of her nephews and nieces. She leaves to mourn her loss her descendants Johanna and Suzanne, daughters of her brother Joe; Joan, Elizabeth, Marion, Simon, Doreen, Frankanne, Patricia, Felicienne, Victor, Edward, Clare, Adrian and Ian, sons and daughters of her sister Mary; Fr Stephen of Australia, son of her brother John; Caroline, daughter of her brother Tony, and Catherine, Andrew and Sarah, daughters and son of her brother Frank; her in-laws Grace and Sheila Debono, and her cousin Anne Anastasi, as well as her dedicated carer Dhani. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, January 3 at 8am for Sacro Cuor church, Sliema, where Mass will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
DE MARCO. The De Marco family regrettably announce the loss of JACQUELINE on Wednesday, December 24 at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre at the age of 64. She is mourned by her sisters Susan Platts, Laura Desira and her husband Oscar, Doris Vassallo and her husband Charles, her brothers George and his wife Frida, David and his wife Mary, Stephen, Mark, and Patrick and his wife Agnes, together with her nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mass will be celebrated tomorrow, Tuesday, December 30, at 9am at the church of All Souls (tal-Erwieħ) in Tarxien, followed by burial at the same cemetery. Instead of flowers, a donation to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated.

You are missed in ways words can’t explain, yet loved in ways time will never erase.” Andrew and Caroline, Julian, Jonathan and Ingrid, Nicola and Stephen; his grandchildren Michael, Amanda, Jamie, Lisa, Adam and Thomas; and his great-grandchildren Amber and Sasha. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
