Obituaries
BORG. On November 29, at home, VICTOR, passed peacefully to meet the Risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Rose; his daughters Johanna and her husband David, Daniella and her husband Sandro; his cherished grandchildren Edward, Andrew, Anastasia and Isabella; his brothers, sisters and their spouses; his in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, December 4, at 9.30am, for Christ the King Basilica, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
BUSUTTIL. On November 29, NENA, aged 80, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Forever loved and remembered by her children Carmen, widow of Joseph, Diane and her husband Frans, Joanne and Mark, Paul and Ina, Nicole, Yana, her grandchildren Donna, Maria, Laura, Darren, Adam, Matthew, Sarah, Luke, Daniela, Kelly, Jessica, Jodie, Jean Paul, Jianne, Ellie, Ivan, and their partners, her great-grandchildren, her brother Felix, her in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Casa Antonia, Balzan, on Friday, December 5, at 8am, for Tal-Erwieħ church, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at the church cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CAMILLERI. On December 1, VICTOR, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Antonio and his wife Yolanda, Nicky and his wife Anne Marie and his daughter Michelle and her husband Aidan Massa, his grandchildren, Nicola, Gianluca and Andrea, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated on Friday, December 5, at 9am at the parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Attard, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the ALIVE Charity Foundation, Żebbuġ, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
GATT. On November 29, CARMEN of Mosta, widow of George, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is forever loved and remembered by her children Sammy and his wife Anne Marie, Marian and her husband Charlie, Josie and her husband Jason, Jonathan and his wife Nadia and Elaine and her husband Mario, her precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, her in-laws, all their families, her dedicated carer Sally, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, December 4, for Mosta Basilica, where Mass to celebrate her life will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Mosta cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank all the healthcare professionals at Hospice Malta and Comcare for their dedication and care during this challenging time.
TEDESCO TRICCAS. On November 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHARLES, of Kappara, San Ġwann, aged 73, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Josephine, his daughters Tiziana and Rachael and her partner Justin, his brother Geoffrey and his wife Rita, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, December 6, at 9.15am, for St Julian’s parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VELLA. On November 30, EMMANUELA (Emma), née Bonaci, of Valletta, residing in Birkirkara, aged 90, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Forever loved and remembered by her children Rita and her husband Carmelo, Grace, her grandchildren Christopher and his wife Ramona, Maria Andria and her husband Daniel, her great-grandchildren Emilia Rose, and Francesco, her brother Charles, widower of Doris, her in-laws and their respective spouses, nephews and nieces and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, December 4, at 8.45am, for the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
YEOMANS. On December 2, ANTONIA, aged 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She shall be forever loved and missed by her children Lorna, Matthew and his wife Sarah, her nephew, her siblings Marthese and her husband Raymond, Joseph, Johnny and his wife Lucy and other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, December 5, for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass to celebrate her life will be held at 9.45am. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
