Obituaries
GRIMA. On February 10, ENZO, aged 86, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. His love, warmth, laughter, fun, kindness and uniqueness will never be forgotten by all, most especially his beloved wife Sara, his adored daughters Gus and Annabel, his cherished grandsons Rocco and Zeph, respected son-in-law Chris and his many dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, for Għargħur parish church, where Mass to celebrate his life will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Malta, Santa Venera, are greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
HOLLAND. On February 11, MARGARET, a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, aged 82, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss, her loving husband Noel, her beloved children Lauren and her husband Marcel, and Steve and his partner Michelle, her grandchildren Sean and his wife Monique, Zach and his fiancée Amy, Gabriel and his fiancée Yasmin, and Chloe, and her great-granddaughter Madeleine, and other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held on Monday, February 16, at Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MALLIA. On February 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Madeleine and her husband Leli, her son Alex and his wife Marica, her brothers and sister Joseph F, Julia, John and Christopher, her sister-in-law Rose, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Saturday, February 14, at 2pm for the collegiate church of St George, Qormi, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Resurrection Cemetery, Qormi. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
STAGNO NAVARRA. On February 11, MARIA, née Depasquale, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord and be reunited with her beloved husband Frank, parents and four siblings. She will be deeply missed by her children Natalie and her husband John Heywood, Pierre and his wife Christine, née Grech, grandchildren Anne and her husband Angelo Pereira and his daughter Lola, Peter, Maria and her boyfriend Sam, Luke, and Matthew and his girlfriend Ania, her sister Gemma, three brothers and their families. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17, at 9am, at St Mary’s parish church, Attard. Rather than flowers, donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

TORTELL – JOSEPHINE MARTHA, née Bianco, 6.3.1943-14.2.2012. Many happy and lasting memories of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Always in our thoughts and prayers. Much missed by Philip, Stephanie, John and Hugh, Gemma and Martin, in-laws, relatives and friends. Rest in peace Jo.
