Obituaries
AZZOPARDI. On December 30, RAPHAEL, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church and surrounded by his loving family. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Rose, his children Vicky, widow of Lino Farrugia, Pio and Snezana, Nadia and Paolo Antonio, his precious grandchildren Francesca and Kevin, Matthias and Karla, his cherished great-granddaughter Maxine, his sister, nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends. The funeral cortège leaves The Imperial, Sliema, on Monday, January 5 for the parish church of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, Tal-Ibraġ, where mass celebrating Raphael’s life will be said at 1pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, are greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Hospice Malta and The Imperial Care Home for their care, compassion and support throughout this challenging journey. Special thanks are extended to Melanie and Gloria at The Imperial for their professional guidance and leadership.
DE GIORGIO. On December 31, at Madliena, MARICA, widow of Roger de Giorgio, aged 98, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her children Nick and Tita, Pat and Michel, Roger and Josianne, Michael and Beverley, John and Monique, her sisters Rosalie and Marie, her grandchildren Jordan, Manuela, Alexandra and Roman, Matthias, Matthew and Solange, Kristina and Sebastian, Alexander and Roberta, Stephanie, James, Yasmin, Amber and Sasha as well as her great-grandchildren Max, Ruby, Tom, Lola, Jack, Penelope, Aella, Noah, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Hospital, Sliema, for the parish church of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, Tal-Ibraġ, where mass praesente cadavere will be said on Tuesday, January 6 at 1.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. A special thanks and appreciation to Ramon and Marian for their dedicated care.
FENECH. On December 22, NOEL, aged 68, a beloved brother and affectionate uncle, passed away suddenly at his home in Sliema, leaving to mourn his loss his brothers and sisters and their spouses: Joan and Joe Brincat, Elizabeth and Joe Musu, Marion, widow of Joseph Buttigieg, Simon and Christine, Doreen and Wilfrid Bonnici, Frankanne and Bertil Damato, Patricia and Marcel Coppini, his twin sister Felicienne, John Mallia, Victor and Alexandra, Edward and Victoria, Clare and Marco Burlò, Adrian and Nikki and Ian and Nikki; his aunts Grace and Sheila Debono; his numerous nephews and nieces whom he loved so dearly; his many friends and acquaintances. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, January 3, at 8am, for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where mass will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

NAUDI. In loving memory of ROBERT, a dear and beloved brother, today the 18th anniversary of his demise. Fondly remembered by his brother Anton and his wife, Marlene, in-laws, nephews and nieces. Forever in our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace. Today’s 6.30pm mass, being said at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, will be offered for the repose of his soul.
RADMILLI – LOUIS. Treasured memories of our dear father on the 10th anniversary of his passing. Fondly remembered by his children David, Victor, Suzanne and their families.
