Obituaries
CILIA. On January 1, RENA, widow of Joseph, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply missed by her beloved children Doreen and her husband John, Grace, George and his wife Liliana, Fr David, Ivan and his wife Jacqueline, Sylvana and her husband Christopher, Jeffrey and his fiancée Michelle, Edmund, Emmie and her husband Bryan, her precious grandchildren Timothy and his wife Hannah, Adriana and her husband Christian, Gabrielle and her boyfriend Luigi, Jacob, Jenny, Jake, Laura, Dejan, Matthew and Jean, her brother and sisters, other relatives and friends.
The funeral cortège leaves The Imperial, Sliema, on Monday, January 5, for St George collegiate church, Qormi, where Mass will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, are greatly appreciated.
Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MAGRO. On January 1, JOSEPHINE, went to meet the Risen Lord, aged 79. She will be dearly missed by her sister Mary, her brothers Victor, Anthony and his wife Patricia, her nieces Nicola, Andrea, Elise, Annemarie, Sarah, Emma, and their respective families, other relatives and friends.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 5, at 8am, at St Paul’s Bay parish church, followed by interment at Saint Paul’s Bay cemetery.
May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
PACE ASCIAK. On December 31, ROSETTE, aged 90, passed away at Mater Dei Hospital. Sadly missed by her children Analita, Renzo and his partner Grace, grandchildren Nicholas and his wife Jeanelle and son Kurt, Matthew and his fiancée Deborah, and Emily Jade, her sister Aurora and husband Reginald, their children Graziella and Pierre and his wife Patricia, her cousin Joseph and wife Marion, and family and friends.
The funeral will take place on Monday, January 5, at St Domenic's church Rabat, Malta, at 8.30am.
May she rest in peace.
