OBITUARIES
BUSUTTIL. On July 9, VIOLET, née Camilleri, passed away peacefully at her home, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She now joins her husband Joseph (Kalepin) and her daughter Jennifer (Christine) and leaves to mourn her loss her son Paul and his wife Cynthia, her sister Antoinette, widow of Mario Fava, her grandchildren Carolanne, Steven, Andrew and Matthew, as well as their partners, her great-granddaughter Zoey, her son-in-law Paul Cassar, other relatives and friends.
The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16, for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GHIRLANDO. On July 8, KIKA, passed away peacefully to join her beloved husband Pierre, her daughter Ira and her siblings. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Sue and her ex-husband Tony Valsamakis, Giselle and her husband Alessandro Liberto, her loving granddaughters Nicola, Dominique and her husband David, Julienne and her husband Isaac, her great-grandchildren Paris, Belle, Cassian and Hunter, her other dear relatives, among whom her sister Ava and her husband George, her nephews, nieces and friends around the world.
Mass præsente cadavere will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16, at 2pm, at Tal-Ibraġ parish church, Swieqi, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
Lord, grant her eternal rest.
A special thank you to the carers of Casa Marija, Sliema, and The Imperial, Sliema, who took loving care of Kika.
