OBITUARY

BUSUTTIL. On July 11, KATIE of Żejtun, aged 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Forever loved and remembered by her sister, Sister Margherita of the Heart of Jesus, her brother Joe and his wife Mary, Jessie, widow of her brother Ninu, her nephews Josef, Mark-Paul, Conrad, Frankie and Consiglio and their respective families, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, July 18, at 8.15am, for St Catherine’s parish church, Żejtun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment at St Gregory Cemetery, Żejtun.

Grant her, O Lord, eternal rest, and let Your perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen

IN MEMORIAM

BONELLO – JOSEPHINE, née Despott. Treasured memories of a beloved mother and grandmother on the 24th anniversary of her demise. Deeply missed by David, Diana and Edgar and families. Please remember her in your prayers.

BONELLO DUPUIS – TERESA. Today being her third anniversary. Wonderful and happy memories of a very special mother who loved and cared for us so much. May she rest in peace. Alex, Caroline and Veronica and their families.

CASSAR MANGHI. In loving memory of JOSEPHINE, née Ebejer, on the first anniversary of her passing on July 17, 2025. Fondly remembered by her husband Luigi, her sons Paolo and Franco and his fiancée Loredana, her father Edwin Peter, her sister Denise, her brother Antoine and his wife Moira and their daughter Roxana, her in-laws and other relatives and friends. Mass for the repose of her soul will be said on Sunday, July 19, at 9.30am, at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St Paul, Mdina. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

RIZZO – JOSEPH. In loving memory of a dearly beloved father and grandfather on the anniversary of his passing away to eternal life. Always in our hearts and prayers. Christopher, Keith, Maria and their families. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
