FARRUGIA. On July 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN of Rabat, aged 84, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Katie, his sons, former MP Noel Farrugia and his family, and Godwin and his wife Lorraine, his grandchildren Sean and his fiancée Triza, Amy, Laken, Owen, Chanise, Melvin and Matthew and their fiancées, his great-grandchildren Kyron and Valentina, his sisters and brother Helen and her husband John, Vince and his wife Marie, Mary, widow of Dr Vincent Busuttil, Antoinette, widow of his brother Joe, and Lilian, widow of his brother Biagio, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, July 4, at 7am, for St Paul’s parish church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
GAUCI. On June 30, at Sir Anthony Mamo Hospital, VICTOR of Senglea, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Cettina, his children Paul and his wife Valerie, Anna and her husband Alfredo Lucia, Charles and his wife Tania, Victor and his wife Luizette, Claire and her husband Ronald Zammit, his grandchildren Roberta, Julia, Maria, Marco, Matthias, Mickey, Paula, Nikki and Philippa, his great-grandchildren, his brothers, sister and their families, other relatives and friends.
The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, July 4, at 7.30am, for the old church of St Venera, where Mass præsente cadavere for the repose of his soul will be celebrated at 8am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
