CASSAR. On July 29, WINIFRED née Galea, at the Imperial, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to mourn her loss her three daughters Jennifer and her husband Keith Hamer, Diana, Sarah and her husband Chris Briffa, her seven beloved grandchildren Anna, George, Michael, Matthew, Stephanie, Sophie and Harry, her seven great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Rose Galea, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, August 3, at the parish church of Saint Julian’s where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude for all the support and love shown by the staff and carers at the Imperial. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
DE GIOVANNI. On July 27, DENIS, aged 74, passed away suddenly at home. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother David and his wife Johanna, his brother-in-law Charles, his nephews Gerald and his wife Janice, Andrew and his wife Sharon, his niece Francesca and other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, August 1, at Ibraġ parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PSAILA. On Saturday, July 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, AUSTIN (Cututu) passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his sons Mark and Rebekah, Benji and Camilla, Matthew and Sabrina, their mother Anna, his partner Jeanette and her children Jamie and Janner, his siblings Joseph and his partner Rosette, Anna, widow of his brother Alex, Tony and his wife Sylvana, Anna Rossi, Pippo and his partner Marguerite, his adored grandchildren Michaela, Ella, Sasha, Eve, Alec, Harry, Emma and Edward, nephews and nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. His life will be celebrated at St Gregory parish church on Wednesday, August 2, at 8.45am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery
No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta would be greatly appreciated. May he rest in peace.
THEUMA. On July 29, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, JOSEPH passed away peacefully after a long illness. He leaves to mourn his wife Helen, his two sons, Charles and his wife Alessandra, and Pierre and his wife Mariella, and his beloved grandchildren Nicholas, Luke, Emma, Ben and Maya, his surviving brother John, and relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 1st, at St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
Lord, grant him eternal rest.
