Obituaries

FORTE. On July 7, ANTOINETTE, née Dimech, of Sliema, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be forever loved and cherished by her husband Albert, her sons Andrew and his wife Paula, John, James and his wife Stephanie, her grandchildren Francesca and Daniel, her brother and sisters, her in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital on Saturday, July 11, for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where mass to celebrate her life will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, St Venera, and Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to convey its heartfelt thanks to all the staff at SAMOC and The Imperial, Sliema, for all their care and dedication.

TORTELL. On July 4, at St Vincent de Paul residence, MARIE LOUISE of Sliema, aged 83, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her great loss her brothers and sisters Phillip and his wife Dorothy, Connie, Margaret and her husband Rene, Liz and her husband Mario, and Louis and Cathy, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, July 10, at 8.45am, for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
