GALEA. On June 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARGARET ROSE, née Said, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, and will be welcomed into the loving arms of her parents Mary and Joseph and her brother Ray. She will be mourned by her family: Joseph, Joswil, Ciera, Charmain, Rudi, Kaya and Zach, her aunt Mary, brother Michael and sister Elisabeth, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives abroad. The funeral cortége leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Tuesday, June 11, at 8am, for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Nanna Maggie, God has you in His keeping, we have you in our hearts. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GRECH. On June 9, MARY, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband John, her children Joyce and her husband George, Charles and his wife Marija, Lynn, Kevin and his wife Jackie, Brian and his wife Bianca, her grandchildren Alina, Luke, Beverly, Kirsten, Stuart, Earvin, Jordan and Emma, his great-grandchild James, her brother Edgar, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, June 12, at 7.45am for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar Merħba, Balzan, would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
TABONE. VICTOR, aged 77, passed away peacefully in Melbourne, Australia. Much loved husband of Marlene (dec), beloved father of Mark and Heather, Chris and Michelle, Paula and Michael. Adored nannu of Mia, Erica, Tilly, Evie, Lizzie and Alex, and the deceased’s siblings in Malta, Marie Louise and John, Doris and Charles, Gemma and Ino, Maurice and Moira, Joseph and Nita and their respective children. The funeral will take place at Tobin Brothers Funeral Home, 816, Doncaster Road, Doncaster, at 2pm, on Monday, June 17. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be held at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, on Wednesday, June 19, at 6.30pm. Forever in our hearts.
