Obituaries

AZZOPARDI. On June 1, at Rabat Community, Sr ROSITA, aged 80, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss the Sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition, her brothers, Fr Cecil, SJ, Ray and his wife Anna, Frank and his wife Anne, Barnard and his wife Rita, her sister Anna and Myriam, widow of Joseph Azzopardi, her nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3, at 8.30am, at St Dominic’s church, St Dominic Square, Rabat, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the missions run by the Sisters of St Joseph will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

PERESSO. On May 30, GEORGE, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Forever loved and remembered by his wife Mary, his children Elena, Lisa and her husband Alexander, his grandchildren Alexandra and Luca Fsadni Peresso, his siblings, in-laws and their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3, at 1.45pm, for Attard parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

PRECA. In ever loving memory of our dearest mother TERRY on the sixth anniversary of her passing away. Fondly remembered by her children, George, Angela and Ann, and their families. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
