OBITUARIES
CAMILLERI. With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of MARIE JOSETTE, aged 72, who passed away on Friday, March 6, beloved wife of Carmel and loving mother of Abigail Camilleri, and now reunited with her beloved late son Duncan Joseph.
The funeral Mass will be held today, Wednesday, March 11, at 4pm at the cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Victoria (Gozo), presided over by Rev. Archbishop A. Xuereb. Interment will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, Xewkija.
Lord, grant her eternal rest.
PACE. On March 9, VICTOR, ex-first secretary of the Malta High Commission in London, aged 84, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family. He will be forever loved by his wife Angela, his children Pamela and her husband Vincent, Geraldine and her husband Jonathan, Frederick and his wife Elaine, his grandchildren Nicole, Nina, Lisa, Niki and Sean, his siblings, his in-laws, other relatives and friends.
The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, March 12, at 8.15am, for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.45am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at the Palliative Care Ward at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre for all their care and support.
PEARSON. On March 9, John, aged 82, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Evelyn, his daughters Myra, Heather and her husband Paul Chricop, his precious grandson Gabriel, his nephew and nieces Jason, Yvette, Fleur and their spouses, his in-laws Violet and Jimmy Gatt, other relatives and friends.
The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, March 12, at 7.45am for St Francis of Assisi parish church, Qawra, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

SALOMONE. In loving memory of CATHERINE (Kitty), a beloved mother and grandmother, today the 36th anniversary of her demise. VELLA – ANNA, née Zammit. On the 12th anniversary of her parting into eternal life and into the arms of the Lord. Gone but will never be forgotten. Constantly in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Forever missed by her beloved children Andrew and Carolina, Nicole, mummy and Simone, Vikki and Paul, Patty, Roger and Maxine, her aunts and all her cousins. Rest in peace, dearest Anna.
In loving memory of NICOLÒ RUSSO (22.10.57 – 12.3.14) on the 12th anniversary of his meeting the Risen Lord. Deeply missed and forever loved by his wife Sandra née Papagiorcopulo, his beloved children Carla and Mark, and the Russo and Papagiorcopulo families. “Io sono la risurrezione e la vita; chi crede in me, anche se muore, vivra; chiunque vive e crede in me, non morira mai.” (Gv.11:25-26).
