OBITUARiES

CALLEJA. On March 11, EDMEA, aged 87, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Sylvana and her partner Joe, her son Sergio and his partner Inna, her precious grandchildren Timothy and his spouse, Thomas, Sergio, Piero and their partners, Michelle, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Tuesday, March 17, at 1.30pm, for the collegiate parish church of St Paul Shipwrecked, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the consultant cardiologists for all their care and support.

MONTANARO GAUCI. On March 16, at Villa Anna Theresa, St Julian’s, Dr NEVILLE, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his daughter Michele and Joseph Spiteri, his daughter Suzy and Sean LeGault, his son David, his grandchildren, Hannah, Lucas, William, Joshua and Phoebe, his siblings Gerald, Alfred, Nicolette, Marie Jose and Winston, their respective families, his sister in-law Ana, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, March 20, at 1pm for St Julian’s parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 1.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

Sincere thanks to the staff at the Renal Unit, Mater Dei Hospital and at Villa Anna Theresa.

TESTAFERRATA MORONI VIANI. On March 14, MONIKA, widow of Baron Salvino Testaferrata Moroni Viani, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Christopher and Martin and their respective wives Daniela and Stephanie, her grandchildren Petra and her husband Steve Portera, Stephen and his wife Naomi, Nicholas, Martina and Sophia, her great-grandchildren Amelie Eva and Giorgia Beatrice, her brother Dr Jur. Manfred Ammermann and his wife Monika, her sister Ute, widow of Rainer Knoche, and her sister-in-law Jane Testaferrata Moroni Viani and their respective families, other relatives and friends, among whom Kenneth, Marissa and Naima.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, March 19, for Christ the King Basilica, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by private interment. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

IN REMEMBRANCE OF OUR TWO BEAUTIFUL ANGELS  Carmen Fenech Zahra 11.11.1961 - 21.03.2001 Lisa Maria Zahra Fenech 02.12.1998 - 19.03.2014 LISA MARIA ZAHRA FENECH Who left this world tragically on 19th March 2014 at the age of 15  and her mother CARMEN FENECH ZAHRA  Who died on 21st March 2001 at the age of 39.  Mass in memory will be said on Saturday 21st March at 10.00am at Tal-Karmnu Basilica, Valletta.  Friends and relatives are invited to attend.  Tony, Bella, Nicholas, Natasha, Michelle and the Zahra and Fenech families. 

In loving memory of Alex Schembri On the 1st Anniversary of his passing onto eternal life. Dearly loved and missed by his wife Margaret, his children; Celia and her husband Mark, Michael and his wife Glorianne, together with his grandchildren Marcus and Matias.
