Obituaries
BUGEJA CARUANA. On March 1, Dr JOHN, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will be greatly missed by his cousins Louisette, Peter, Nicholas, Alfred, Bertha, Diana, Gillian, Louis, Rosalie, Marie and Caroline, along with their respective spouses.
The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, March 5, at 8.15am, for the Metropolitan Cathedral of St Paul, Mdina, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
Lord, grant him eternal rest.
BUHAGIAR. On February 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, Prof. MARIO BUHAGIAR, FSA, MOM, of Attard, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Liliana, née Porsella-Flores, his daughter Ingrid and her husband Daniel Camilleri, his adored grandson Adam George, his brother Anthony and his wife Marie, née Calleja, his sister Elda and her husband Philip Borg, his in-laws Pierina, widow of Eric Zammit, Renzo, George and Marco and his wife Lorraine, née Sammut, his nephews, nieces, other relatives, fellow academics at University and friends.
Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Thursday, March 5, at 9am, at St Mary’s parish church, Attard, followed by interment at Attard cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.
Lord, grant him eternal rest.
