Diamond Wedding

Mr ALFRED CURMI and Miss VICTORIA ATTARD

On October 10, 1965, ALFRED, son of Hilda and Victor Curmi and VICTORIA (Vicki), daughter of Antoinette and Edward Attard, were united in marriage at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. Congratulations on reaching this incredible milestone, Mum and Dad. Love from Nigel and Ella, Edward and Marilena, Jessica and Julian, Peter and Agnese, and your eight grandchildren.

Obituaries

AXISA. On October 6, PETER, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, aged 77, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered by his wife Marica, née Xuereb, his treasured children Sandra and Kristina, and his cherished grandchildren Miguel, Pedro and Nina; his siblings Marguerite, John and his wife Jay, and Mary Anne, widow of his brother Gerald; his in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, October 11, at 9am, for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere for the repose of his soul will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Malta, Santa Venera, or the Malta Community Chest Fund, will be greatly appreciated. May he rest in eternal peace. The family would like to thank the consultant and his team at SAMOC, Healthmark nurses and Hospice Malta for their constant support.

CAMILLERI. On October 8, at his home in Madliena, JOSEPH, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will be forever loved and remembered by his devoted wife Alberta, his beloved children Kristian and his wife Sharon, Rachel, Liza and her husband Kevin. He will also be dearly missed by his cherished grandchildren Chloe, Zachary and Emilia, his sisters Julie Stivala and Marielle Salomone, his brothers-in-law Alfred Falzon Sant Manduca and John Bugeja, as well as other relatives and friends.

The funeral leaves his residence today, Friday, October 10, at 9am, for Tal-Ibraġ parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Dementia Society, University of Malta, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

RAGONESI. On October 9, at his residence in Sliema, VICTOR EMMANUEL, passed away peacefully at the age of 101, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Mariella and her husband Albert Cassar, Anne and her husband Keir Argent, Isabelle and Rodolfo, his grandchildren Sarah, Alexis, Mikiel, Max and Laura, their respective spouses, great-grandchildren Hugh, Ivy, Oscar, Rafaele and Leonardo, his sisters Joan Fleri-Soler and Margaret Grech and his brother Rene’s widow, Tania Ragonesi, numerous nephews and nieces, his dedicated carers, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be held on Monday, October 13, at 2pm, at St Gregory the Great parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. We thank God for his long and fruitful life. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

The 6.30pm mass being said today at Balzan parish church will be offered for the repose of her soul. God, grant her eternal rest.
