Obituary
ATTARD. On October 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, LOUIS, of Cospicua and residing in Żabbar, former works manager Public Works, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Jane, his children Mary Louise and her husband Nicholas, Brian and his wife Marvin, grandchildren Leanne and her husband Roderick and Daniela and her husband Marlon, great-grandchildren Kate, Emma and Thomas, other relatives and friends and his carer Joanne. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, October 6, at 1.30pm for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Collegiate Church, Cospicua, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CARUANA. On October 3, Fr LAWRENCE, SJ, aged 95, at Loyola House, Naxxar, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brethren in the Society of Jesus in Malta and India, his sister Helen, wife of Lino Gauci Borda, his sisters-in-law, Marion, widow of his brother Paul, Antoinette, widow of his brother Emmanuel, his nephews and nieces, their families, other relatives and benefactors of the Jesuit Santal Mission in India. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated today Monday, October 4 at 4pm at Naxxar collegiate parish church, followed by interment at Naxxar parish cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to the Jesuit Infirmary for aged and sick Jesuit Fathers and Brothers will be greatly appreciated. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.

NICHOLL – YVONNE. Trea-sured memories of our beloved mother today being the 16th anniversary of her passing away. Sadly missed by her family. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
