Obituaries

ELLUL BONICI. On August 31, SHARON of Paola, aged 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Forever loved and remembered by her sons Stevey and his wife Louise and Jamie, her grandchild Joshua, her mother Yvonne and her father John, her brothers and sister Raymond and his wife Miriam, Carol, John and his wife Denise, Andy and his wife Claudia, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, September 2 at 9.15am for Christ the King Basilica, Paola, where mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. A donation box will be placed at the entrance of the church for the Hospice Movement. Grant her, O Lord, eternal rest, and let your perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen

PARNIS – On August 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, LOUIS, aged 89, ex-manager at the Corinthia Palace Hotel, passed away peacefully. Deeply mourned by his wife Violet, his children David and his wife Doreen, Richard, Denise and her partner Andrew, Claire and her partner Victor, his brother Charles and his wife Victoria, his sister Perenia and her husband Lawrence, his grandchildren, relatives and friends, especially close friend Felicitas-Renate Jacobs. The funeral mass praesente cadavere will take place on Wednesday, September 3 at 10am at the Christ the King Basilica, Paola. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CHETCUTI. Treasured memories of our dearest wife, mother, and grandmother, CAROLINE MARY, on the first anniversary of her passing to eternal life. Remembered today as always with much love and gratitude by her husband, Joseph, her children, Marie, Sandra, Claire and Sergio, Stephen and Nicky and Vicky and Pierre, her grandchildren, Luca, Elena, Amy and Thomas. CRISTINA – ANTHONY. In loving memory, today the 37th anniversary of his demise. Always remembered by his children Marlene, Helen, Luciano, Victor, Joe and Sylvana, in-laws and grandchildren.

GALEA. Treasured and unfading memories of our sweet and gentle mummy LINA on the 12th anniversary of her passing away to eternal life. So very deeply missed and thought of during each passing day. Forever in the prayers of her daughters Anne Marie, Lorraine and Ronnie, and Victoria, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MILLER. In loving memory of FRANCIS, today the 27th anniversary of his death. At peace and reunited with his much loved wife Lilian. A wonderful father and adored grandpa, he is sadly missed by his children Madeleine, Joan, Malcolm, Caroline and their families.

NICOLAS. In loving memory of our beloved mother, MARY, née De Gaetano, who passed away on September 1, 2009. Always remembered with much love and gratitude by her daughters Amy, Freda, and Joanna and their families. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
