Obituary
BORG. On November 11 at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANK of Mosta, ex-PC199 aged 83, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Fransina, his daughters Monica and her husband Salvinu Vella, Edwige and her husband Raymond Scicluna, his nephew Andre, his nieces Sarah, Andreana and Martha, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.45 p.m. for Mosta parish church, where mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment at Mosta Cemetery. The attendance of relatives and friends will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest. CAMILLERI. On November 10, JOSEPHINE (ex-teacher), aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her brother Charles, widower of Mary, her sister Eunice, wife of Vincent Cassar, her sister-in-law Lilian, widow of Francis, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 2.30 p.m. at St Augustine parish church, Valletta, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
DE MARCO. On November 10, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, ANGELA, née Tabone, aged 46, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after a long illness which she always bore with a smile. She is deeply mourned by her beloved husband David, her dearest children Julia, Zack and Steve, her mother Margaret, née Galea, her brothers and sisters Kay and her husband Philip Wismayer, Paul and Liz, George, Stephen and Angela, Bobby and Fabio Mirone, her father-in-law Joseph De Marco, her in-laws Marise and Patrick Anastasi, Madeleine Cardona, Angela and Carl Barthet, Christine and Michael Barwani, Robert and Claire, her nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital today at 9 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, and the Malta Cancer Foundation, Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, will be appreciated. Lord Jesus, grant her eternal rest.
MICALLEF. On November 11, at St Vincent de Paul residence, LOUIS of Paola, aged 94, widower of Mary, née Grech, ex-teacher, of Paola, on the second anniversary of her demise, passed into the arms of his Creator, comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. He is survived by his only daughter Marion and her husband Frans Caruana and his only beloved grandson Gianluca. He leaves to mourn his loss his siblings, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the medical and nursing staff at Loreto Ward, Padre Pio Complex, St Vincent de Paul residence, for their dedication and care during Louis' stay there. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
SCICLUNA. On November 8, at St Joseph Health Centre, Toronto, Canada, AMADEO, in his 80th year, widower of Carmen, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Natalie Zammit and her husband Joe, Sylvia Fujimoto and her husband Nobby, his grandchildren Shawn and his wife Carmen, Karen and her partner Chris, Justin, Nathan, and Maia, his great-grandchildren Owen and Ben, his brother Victor and his wife Helen, his late wife's brothers and sister, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends residing in Malta and overseas. Mass will be said on November 14 at St Pius X church on Bloor Street West, Toronto, followed by interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
Donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Masses for the repose of his soul will be said from November 17 to November 23 at 9.15 a.m. at St Julians parish church. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
